हल्द्वानी। खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने हल्द्वानी के गौलापार में फुटबॉल मैदान और हल्द्वानी स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम काम्प्लेक्स का लोकार्पण किया। खेल मंत्री ने प्रशिक्षण शिविर में भाग ले रहे खिलाड़ियों से बातचीत भी की। हल्द्वानी गौलापार पहुंची खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने हवन पूजन के साथ दोनों खेल परिसरों का लोकार्पण किया । इस अवसर पर खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि इन दो खेल संसाधनों के मिलने के बाद हल्द्वानी अब खेलों की दुनिया में अपनी अलग जगह बना सकेगा । उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार ने दूरस्थ गांव में भी जो खेल प्रतिभाएं हैं उन्हें निखारने और अपना हुनर दिखाने का मौका देने के लिए बड़े प्रयास किए हैं।
खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने खिलाड़ियों को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि उन्हें आगामी राष्ट्रीय खेल में ज्यादा से ज्यादा मैडल लाकर आदर्श स्थापित करना है तभी उनके पीछे उनसे प्रेरणा लेकर खिलाड़ियों की बड़ी संख्या तैयार होगी। इस अवसर पर भाजपा मंडल अध्यक्ष मुकेश बेलवाल, संचित डागर, खेल उपनिदेशक शक्ति सिंह आदि उपस्थित रहे।

इस मौके पर खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने खिलाड़ियों के बीच जाकर उनसे एक-एक करके बातचीत की और उनकी तैयारी का जायजा लिया । खेल मंत्री ने खिलाड़ियों से कहा कि राष्ट्रीय खेलों के लिए संसाधन जुटाते समय उन्होंने वचन दिया था कि इससे हमारे प्रदेश में नेशनल लेवल के खिलाड़ी तैयार होंगे।
