दिल्ली सरकार ने बिजली बिलों पर लगे सरचार्ज को 65 से 40 फीसदी तक कम करने का लिया फैसला
नई दिल्ली। बिजली उपभोक्ताओं को दिल्ली सरकार नए साल का तोहफा देने जा रही। बिजली बिलों पर लगे सरचार्ज को 65 से 40 फीसदी तक कम करने का फैसला लिया। दिल्ली में पावर पर्चेज एडजस्टमेंट चार्ज (पीपीएसी) की दरें जो पहले बीआरपीएल के लिए 35.83 फीसदी, बीवाईपीएल के लिए 38.12 फीसदी और टीपीडीडीएल के लिए 36.33 फीसदी थीं। उन्हें घटा कर क्रमशः 18.19 फीसदी, 13.63 फीसदी और 20.52 फीसदी कर दिया। इसका सीधा फायदा बिजली बिलों में दिखेगा।
दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री आतिशी ने कहा कि सरकार ने हमेशा उपभोक्ताओं को अधिकतर बिजली दरों में बढ़ोतरी से बचाने को प्राथमिकता दी है, ताकि बिजली वितरण कंपनियां (डिस्कॉम्स) दिल्ली विद्युत नियामक आयोग (डीईआरसी) के निर्धारित नियमों का पालन करें। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पड़ोसी शहर नोएडा और गुरुग्राम में न केवल बिजली की दरें अधिक हैं, बल्कि गर्मी के मौसम में बार-बार बिजली कटौती भी होती है। वहीं दिल्ली में लोग 24 घंटे बिजली की आपूर्ति का आनंद लेते हैं और हमारी नीतियों के कारण कई मामलों में उनकी बिजली बिल भी शून्य होते हैं।
पीपीएसी (पावर पर्चेज एडजस्टमेंट चार्ज) एक अतिरिक्त शुल्क है जो बिजली बिलों में जोड़ा जाता है, ताकि बिजली खरीदने की लागत में आए बदलाव को कवर किया जा सके। यह बिजली वितरण कंपनियों (डिस्कॉम्स) को उन अतिरिक्त खर्चों को वसूलने में मदद करता है जो अचानक होने वाली घटनाओं जैसे ईंधन की कीमतों में उतार-चढ़ाव, ट्रांसमिशन चार्जेस, या मौसम और बाजार की परिस्थितियों के कारण होते हैं।
