नए साल में कार्बेट टाइगर रिजर्व से लाया जाएगा 5वां बाघ
देहरादून। राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व के पश्चिमी हिस्से में बाघों की कमी के चलते शासन की ओर से अनुमति मिलने के बाद अब बाघ लाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। नए साल के मौके पर यहां बाघ लाया जाएगा। हालांकि बाघ नर होगा या फिर मादा इस बारे में अभी कुछ कहा नहीं जा सकता। नए साल में राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व के पश्चिमी हिस्से में बाघों का कुनबा बढ़ने जा रहा है। अब तक पश्चिमी हिस्से में चार बाघ लाए जा चुके हैं। शासन की ओर से अब 5वें बाघ को लाने की अनुमति ली जा चुकी है। नया बाघ कार्बेट टाइगर रिजर्व से लाया जाएगा।
राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व में कुल 54 बाघ हैं। लेकिन पश्चिमी हिस्सा बाघ विहीन हो गया था। पिछले दिनों कॉर्बेट नेशनल पार्क से चार बाघों को इस क्षेत्र में छोड़ा गया था। इसमें एक बाघ और तीन बाघिन थीं। अब पश्चिमी हिस्से में एक नया बाघ आने जा रहा है। एनटीसीए से इसकी अनुमति मिल चुकी है, लेकिन राजाजी में आने वाला नया बाघ नर होगा या मादा, इस पर कार्बेट की ओर से फैसला नहीं लिया गया है।
राजाजी नेशनल पार्क के निदेशक कोको रोसे ने बताया कि राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व में कॉर्बेट से पांच बाघों को लाने की योजना थी, जिनमें से चार बाघ लाए जा चुके हैं और अब जल्द एक और बाघ लाने की तैयारी है। इससे पश्चिमी हिस्से में बाघों का नया आशियाना बनेगा।
राजाजी टाइगर रिजर्व प्रशासन नेशनल पार्क के पश्चिमी हिस्से में बाघों की आबादी बढ़ाने का प्रयास कर रहा है। बाघिन ने चार शावकों को जन्म दिया तो राजाजी प्रशासन को उम्मीदें भी जगीं, लेकिन इस कवायद को झटका तब लगा जब दो शावकों को गुलदार ने हमला कर शिकार बना लिया। हालांकि, दो शावकों का अभी भी पता नहीं चल सका है।
पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट के अनुसार शावकों के गले पर ठीक उसी तरह के निशान पाए गए जैसे लैपर्ड के शिकार पर हमले में बनते हैं। राजाजी प्रबंधन के अनुसार दो शावकों के शव तो बरामद हो गए, लेकिन यह माना जा रहा है कि दो शावकों को गुलदारों ने ऐसी जगह ले जाकर शिकार बनाया जहां वनकर्मियों की पहुंच नहीं है।
